Concerns/Questions
Need to think about how evaluate if part of plan is working for next meeting.
Jim, Jen, and Michelle will review the info presented today. This group will bring the info to the Leadership Team Meeting for further assistance.
RtI will give the info after November 12.
Who will enter all of this info into the IIRC?
Can we meet before Dec. 1 if necessary? Everyone said yes.
Must be explicit with who, what, when, where, how. Hillyn will read as a preview before go to state.
Jill and Jennette will provide electronic copies of what is written.
Sam will create a folder on the N drive for everyone to place the electronic version of their info - please do this by tomorrow morning.
Many items for January – how and when to inform people who is responsible for each of the components. i.e. Family resource center – who will write the grant, who will be responsible for how it is set up COMMUNICATION is essential!
Concern because fewer and fewer people remaining involved in the process and how do we get more people involved since this is an all school improvement plan.
Need to communicate as soon as possible and solicit more help. Need to look for untapped resources – the community.
Plan has to reflect available resources and focus on the few things that are most important. Might need to shift items to prioritize.
Assessment/outcomes/curriculum – what role does this play?
Curriculum cycle – is this meaningful? Are teachers using this information adequately? Some yes, all maybe.
Let DH’s focus on the C&I and not SIP. Transfer what is happening on DH Level to the SIP.
Much of what is presented in the plan will indirectly impact reading and math.
Overall – everyone working hard and making great progress towards improving student learning!!! Great job!
